Late Check-Outs 

As much as we love sleeping in, late check-outs are not available at the Chalet. Unauthorized late check outs will be subject to a $200 fee. 

House Rights 

Should any action by guests be deemed inappropriate by Lokal, or if any inappropriate behavior is brought to the attention by the neighbors, Lokal reserves the right to request that the guests vacate the cabin without a refund. 

Occupancy 

Only a confirmed number of guests are allowed on the property. We do not allow more than 8 guests at any time. 

No Party Policy 

Lokal enforces a strict No Party Policy for the comfort and security of our guests and neighbors. Excessive noise will not be tolerated at any time. Should guests violate this policy, a warning will be issued. A second violation will result in immediate eviction from the cabin without refund.

Indoor Fireplace 

The indoor fireplace is for display purposes only. We promise you, you do not want to attempt to build a fire. It will make you sad and will incur a $1000 penalty. Keep the fire outside! 

Security 

For guest security, please lock all windows and doors when leaving the cabin. The outdoor security camera is located in the front of the cabin. 

Safety 

Lokal Chalet is located in the woods. Adults must keep a constant watch on children whenever they are not participating in an organized activity, especially around the bonfires and hot tub (please do not allow your children to walk on the hot tub cover). Additionally, please use caution when walking up and down the stairs. Lokal is not liable for any damage or injury to any persons or property resulting from either their authorized or unauthorized use of the cabin or its grounds. 

100% Smoke-free 

Smoking is allowed outside only, and cigarette butts must be disposed of at the end of guests' stay. Any evidence of smoking inside of the cabin will result in a $1,000 fee. This includes smoking tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, diffusers, hookahs, incense, cigars, and candle burning.

Pets 

Guests are welcome to have up to two well-behaved dogs maximum for $100 per stay (sorry, no puppies or cats). Dogs are not allowed on furniture or carpet. Please ensure your pets are respectful of our plant friends! 

Photography 

Commercial photography and filming are prohibited on property without prior approval from Lokal Management. A $1,000 fee will be charged if violated. 

Trash and Recycling 

If you are a guest during this time, please take out garbage on Monday evening and bring cans back in after it is picked up on Tuesday. Recycling is every other week. 

Games:

Please Note: The fabric on our brand new game tables is NOT a part of the game. Any rips, stains, or damage will cost you up to $1000 - much more than the security deposit. Children must be supervised at all times and everyone is expected to handle the tables with care. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding! Please return all game parts to the original location.

Furniture and Room Furnishings 

All furniture, furnishings and kitchenware must be returned to their original placement prior to checking out. Violations will result in an additional fee. 

Open Fires 

Bonfires may never be left unattended. Fires must be completely put out before departing.

Hot Tub 

The hot tub is available to use all year round! Please keep the hot tub turned on and covered when not in use. 

Damage 

Upon booking we require a credit card on hold for any damages beyond normal use of our amenities incurred during the guest's stay. The guest authorizes Lokal to charge the cost of repair of such damage or loss of such items caused by themselves, or any person for whom they are responsible. Such damage would include the cost of cleaning bedding and upholstery, and fumigation if the guest smokes in a room, and/or damage to furniture, rugs, walls and fixtures as well as replacing missing items such as bedding, towels, furnishings, kitchenware, etc.
