Chalet Gaming Guide

How to Play Table Shuffleboard:

1. Take Turns: Players alternate sliding the pucks (also called weights) down the table.

2. Aim for Scoring Zones: Try to land your puck in the highest scoring zone without it falling off the end.

3. Knock Off: You can knock your opponent’s pucks off the table to remove their points.

4. Scoring: Only pucks completely in a scoring zone count. The puck closest to the far edge scores.

5. First to 15/21: The first player to reach 15 (or 21) points wins the game.

How to Play Cornhole:

1. Setup: Place boards 27 feet apart. Teams stand on opposite sides, facing each other.

2. Take Turns: Players alternate tossing bean bags at the board.

3. Scoring:

   - 1 point: Bag lands on the board.

   - 3 points: Bag goes through the hole.

4. Cancel Points: Opposing players' scores cancel each other out in each round (e.g., if Player A scores 5 and Player B scores 3, Player A gets 2 points).

5. Winning: The first team to reach 21 points wins.

How to Play Foosball:

1. Setup: Each player/team controls rods with attached figures. The objective is to score by getting the ball into the opponent's goal.

2. Game Start: The ball is served through the side hole or placed at the center of the table.

3. Taking Turns: Players can only move their rods side to side and rotate them to kick the ball. No spinning (rotating a rod more than 360°) is allowed.

4. Scoring: A goal is scored when the ball enters the opponent's goal. The game typically goes to 5, 7, or 10 points, depending on the agreement.

5. Winning: The first player or team to reach the agreed number of points wins.

How to Play Bumper Pool:

1. Setup: Each player has 5 balls (one white or red with a marking and four plain). The table has two pockets, one on each side, surrounded by bumpers.

2. Starting the Game: Place one marked ball in front of your pocket. Both players simultaneously shoot their marked ball towards the opponent's pocket. The player whose ball lands closest to or in the pocket starts the game.

3. Taking Turns: Players alternate shots, aiming to sink their balls into the opponent’s pocket. You can bounce the balls off the bumpers to change their direction.

4. Scoring: The goal is to sink all your balls into the opponent's pocket. If you accidentally sink an opponent’s ball, it counts for them.

5. Winning: The first player to sink all their balls wins. If a player sinks their last ball in their own pocket, they lose.

PLEASE NOTE: The fabric on our brand new game tables is NOT a part of the game. Any rips, stains, or damage will cost you up to $1000 - much more than the security deposit. How to Play Table Tennis:

1. Setup: Each player uses a paddle to hit a lightweight ball over the net on a table.

2. Serving: The game starts with a serve. The server must toss the ball up and hit it so it bounces once on their side of the table and then on the opponent's side.

3. Rally: Players take turns hitting the ball. The ball must bounce once on the opponent’s side before being returned. It should not hit the net or bounce twice on one side.

4. Scoring:

   - A point is scored when your opponent fails to return the ball, hits it off the table, or into the net.

   - Games are usually played to 11 points, and a player must win by 2 points.

5. Winning: The first player to reach 11 points with a 2-point lead wins the game. Matches are typically best of 5 or 7 games.
