How to Get In: The Oliver Inn is located at 132 E Superior St. Duluth, MN 55802 and shares a front entrance with Wasabi Japanese Restaurant on the Superior Street level. This is where hotel guests enter. You will see the host stand for the restaurant right when you walk in, but keep in mind their staff is separate from ours and we do not have a front desk, so if you have questions, please call or text us at (218) 591-5875 or email us at info@theoliverinn.com and we will be happy to assist you.

How to get in the front door:

- When the Wasabi restaurant is open, the door will be unlocked. The door handle will not turn so it may seem locked, but you will be able to pull the door open without turning the handle.

- When the Wasabi restaurant is closed, you will need your front door code from your welcome email (sent the morning of arrival). You do not need to press Yale or any other button, just start typing the number code and the keypad will light up. Make sure to press the checkmark afterwards to unlock the door. You may need to press the door in slightly, turn the handle, then pull to open.

When using the front door electronic locks, you will need to follow these simple steps:

1. Enter your front door code.

2. Press the checkmark.

3. You will then hear the lock engage.  The touch pad can be sensitive and is timed. Please have your code ready so the lock does not time out as you are trying to enter.

To open your room door:

1. Tap the YALE icon.

2. Enter your door code from your welcome email (sent the morning of arrival).

3. Press the checkmark.

4. You will need to hit the “Yale” icon to lock your room door each time you exit.
