There is so much more to do in Cape May then just lay on the beach. Rent some bikes and take a ride around town. Head out to West Cape May and visit Beach Plum Farm (be sure to take the kids all the way to the back of the farm to find the hidden rope swing). Visit Cape May point, see the sunken concrete ship, climbthe Cape May Lighthouse, walk the Nature Trails and discover the WWII Tower and Bunker. To that end check out the numerous Nature Trails on the island (don't forget to look out for unique birds, especially during migration season!). Of course there is always time for shopping on the Washington Street Mall. Up for a drive? The Cape May Zoo is only 10 mins away and is an beautiful (and free!) family stop. Need some indoor time? Check out Cape Square Entertainment in Rio Grande -with bowling, and arcade, movie theaters, beer garden, bars and restaurants it has something for everyone!
